• The trip to Ancient Olympia begins with a first stop at the Isthmus of Corinth, where you will have the chance to take your first photos. We cross the Peloponnese through Tripoli and Andritsaina, and we will reach the small town of Olympia. Ancient Olympia was established as the most important sports and religious center of ancient Greece. The Olympic Games were born here and they were held every four years in honor of Zeus, with a wreath made out of an olive branch as the top prize. In the archaeological site we will admire the temple of Zeus and we will visit the sanctuary of Hera, Vouleuterion, Prytanio and many other monuments. We will then visit the archaeological museum and after this physical and spiritual visit to the birthplace of the Olympic Games we will stop for lunch at one of the traditional taverns of the area.

  • Approximately one hour drive from Athens is the Isthmus of Corinth, 6.4 km long, which connects the Aegean with the Ionian Sea, and is a perfect spot for unique photographs. We will then visit the small town of Ancient Corinth, where we will see Akrokorinthos, the Acropolis of Ancient Corinth. We recommend that you also see the Temple of Apollo, the Agora, the Municipal Theater and the Conservatory.

  • A unique trip “to the center of the earth”. Driving through Livadia we will reach the foothills of Parnassus, where the sanctuary of Delphi and the most famous oracle of Ancient Greece was located. It is there that the oracle, Pythia, in a state of ecstasy spoke the prophecies of the god Apollo, which were then interpreted by Apollo’s priests. In the archaeological site of Delphi, we will see the temples of Apollo and Athena, the stadium and Kastalia spring. Then we will visit the oracle of Delphi. At a short distance from Delphi is the small town of Arahova, known for its ski center and its traditional carpets. After enjoying a traditional meal at one of the many local taverns, we will head back with a stop at the Byzantine monastery complex of Hosios Loukas .

  • Our ride will lead us after 40 minutes to Marathon, where in 490 Β.C., a battle took place between the Athenians and the Persians. We will tour the field of the battle, visit the Marathon Temple and continue our visit to the archaeological museum of Marathon. We will then head towards the artificial lake, cross the dam and have a final stop to enjoy our coffee.

  • Mycenae – Nafplio – Epidaurus: A trip that will enchant you. After a first stop at the Isthmus of Corinth (ideal spot for photographs) and driving through the thousands of vineyards in Nemea, we arrive at Mycenae, where we will visit the Cyclopean Walls, the Lions Gate and the Royal Achaean tombs. Our next stop is Nafplio, the first capital of the Greek state. We will admire the city from above, climbing the 999 steps leading to Palamidi, and we will take a break for lunch at one of the local taverns with a magnificent view towards Bourtzi, the tiny island situated in the port of Nafplio with its Venetian fortress. Our final stop is at the ancient theater of Epidaurus, with its unique natural acoustics, where wonderful performances are staged during the summer months until today.

  • 75 km from the center of Athens, at the southern-most tip of Attica, you will find Cape Sounio, known for the ancient temple of Poseidon. We will reach our destination driving through the Athenian Riviera (Faliro, Alimos, Glyfada, Kavouri, Vouliagmeni) and the along the Saronic Gulf coast line (Varkiza, Lagonisi, Saronida). In less than an hour you will be at Cape Sounio, where you can visit the archaeological site of the Temple of Poseidon and enjoy the breathtaking view while sipping your coffee. During the summer months, the ideal time for a visit is during the afternoon, in order to experience one of the most beautiful sunsets of your life.
